Plan a route

You can plan a route with route points on the map. From the settings, you can choose the fastest or shortest route, and preferences for those, which affect the suggested route.

Plan a route:

1. Open the Maps application.
   
2. Select Plan route.
   
3. Select the Starting point and choose:
   
   • Current GPS location - If you have established a GPS location, you can use your current location, or the previous GPS location.
   • Saved locations - Select from your saved locations
   • Recent locations - Select from the recent locations you have used
   • From map - Browse the map for a starting point.

   • Address - Fill in the address information, select Find, and choose the address matching your query.
4. Select a Destination.
   
5. If you want to adjust the route settings before viewing the route, choose Options > Route settings. You can choose between the fastest and shortest route by car, and if you want to include or avoid Ferry, Motorway or Toll road in your route
   
6. When your route is ready, select:
   
• View to see the route on the map.
• To start navigating, select Options > Start navigating.
• To start tracking, select Options > Start tracking.
